ABOUT ME
I began translating professionally 7 years ago, after completing a Master’s degree in Translation Studies. It all started with a position as a lawyer-linguist at a Barcelona-based law firm, primarily focused on corporate matters.
Since 2019, I balance my freelance translation work with a role as a business English instructor for executives and corporate partners from multinational companies across various industries, including pharmaceuticals, IT, manufacturing, and cosmetics.
I’m a member of the Chartered Institute of Linguists in the UK and Chartered Linguist and actively engage with the translation community. When I step away from the screen, I’m an avid reader, enjoy being by the sea and all things aquatic, and love exploring new places with my husband and my two sons. Most of my personal interests align with the professional areas I specialise in.
Language Skills and Expertise
I possess proficient language skills in English, Spanish, and Catalan. I’m officially qualified in all three languages, having attained recognition from the Chartered Institute of Linguists and the Chartered Linguist status.
My educational background has been rooted in linguistic diversity, with degrees earned from both Spanish and UK universities. My work as a legal English instructor has allowed me to refine and enhance these language skills.
The knowledge I acquired during my time in the legal sector has significantly contributed to my expertise in the fields of legal, medical, and certified translations.

I also provide certified Spanish to English Translations such as Legal Documents, Vital Records, Academic Transcripts and Diplomas, Criminal Records and Clearances, Immigration Documents and have a dedicated website for this service.
